The John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation, Inc. (“Foundation”) is dedicated to increase public knowledge about exercise and mental health. Our mission is to advance learning about how exercise, diet, relationships, and health care fit together to benefit mental health.
The Foundation will facilitate meaningful non-partisan studies and translation of results into health care, seeking ultimately to enable a seamless integration between science and practice. We will serve as a science network and collaboration hub to accelerate the generation of new knowledge. Our product is data, information, and knowledge, openly shared free of charge. Our interactive surveys and research program will displayed in our aggregated media Newsroom. We will be working pro-actively with media, business, civic, and educational leaders to disseminate and promote this information.
The Board of Directors will meet one time each calendar quarter. The January meeting will be a four hour retreat to create the strategy for the coming year. The April and September meetings will be held by teleconference and the June meeting will be held in person.
The Board of Directors is a team of mental health professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are dedicated to advancing the foundation mission.
